New African Soccer has today announced Crystal Palace's DR Congo forward Yannick Bolassie as African Player of the month of November in the English Premier League.

Bolassie who had a fantastic month including scoring a heart trick against Newcastle and contributing in inflicting a first home defeat on Liverpool under manager Klopp, beat off the challenge of October winner Odion Ighalo, veteran returnee Aruna Kone of Everton and Ghana superstar and August winner Andre Ayew.

Awards director and CEO of New African Soccer Tunde Adelakun heaped praise on Bolassie saying 'Crystal Palace's ascent in the top half of the league table was no fluke as they have asserted themselves as big away spoilers. And Bolassie has been a pivotal feature of that squad and he's well worthy of this award".

The award will be presented to the winner in the coming days.
