ROAD TO 2010 - DRAW FOR FINAL QUALIFIERS MADE E-mail
Written by Jake Brown

Angola CAN2010

The draw for the final phase of qualifying for the 2010 Nations Cup in Angola and the World Cup in South Africa was made on the 22nd October in Zurich.

It's looking very tasty but we'll have to wait till March for the fun to begin.

Group A: Cameroon, Morocco, Gabon, Togo

Group B: Nigeria, Tunisia, Kenya, Mozambique

Group C: Egypt, Algeria, Zambia, Rwanda

Group D: Ghana, Mali, Benin, Sudan

Group E: Ivory Coast, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Malawi

The 5 group winners will go on to represent Africa at the World Cup, alongside hosts South Africa.

The top 3 in each group and hosts Angola will be battling it out to be crowned African champions at the 27th African Cup of Nations.

The final round of qualifiers will begin in March 2009. Fixtures are yet to be announced.
